COVID-19 and cancer in the United States

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in the United States (US) has been enormous. It is the country with the largest number of confirmed COVID-19 infections, 12.6 million reported by November 25, and the greatest number of COVID-19 related deaths, 260,065 to date, representing 18% of deaths globally.
